about time….

Lol well I decided it was way past the time i should have last updated!

Things are getting super crazy around here!! As school is coming to a close I’m realizing just how little time I’ve got left! I have been sick a bit the last few weeks(I had the flu–no not the swine flu!) and so I’ve missed quite a bit of school. not such a great thing to do when your a senior getting ready to graduate! now I have a lot of make up work I have to do but I just can’t find the umpf to do it!

19 more days(including weekends and holidays) until graduation!!! I am so excited!! I was suppose to have my senior pictures today but they got canceled on account of the girl that was doing them had a family emergency and is in Ohio now….. oh well!! I have some nice ones that my friend took last year so it’s not a super big deal! I need to get my graduation announcements sent out and then I’ll be good to go!!

Wrapping up work is super sad– I have 2 shifts left!! It’s really sad to think that I won’t be working there anymore! My last day is the 23rd and I wish I coudl work that next week but I just won’t have the time. I am going to be so super crazy busy!!

I have a long list of things I have to do before I leave, and you’d think it would get shorter but it just keeps getting longer as I think of more and more things to do!! maybe I should stop thinking… but I can’t afford that. lol. I gotta get stuff done!

so besides being in a crazy state of getting ready to leave and graduate, things are going good!!
I’m finally enjoying the wonderful sunshine that we’ve had the last week(I hope I didn’t just curse that!) Because I was super sick of the rain! It will be good to spend my last few weeks with sunshine! can you believe I’ve only got 26 more days in the states?!?! I sure can’t believe it…. it’s gonna be crazy but it’s gonna be a great adventure….

well sorry for the lame update, but I better get back to that list!

Spring Fever…

It has been a really long time…. I apologize but not much I can do.

Sweethearts has past, that was fun other than the car accident! But my date was great and my group was amazing!! I love my friends!

School has been keeping me busy, and I’ve been sick on top of it. not such fun stuff, but tomorrow is the last day of second tri!!!! only 86 more days until Graduation(including weekends and holidays)…. isn’t that so crazy to think?! I’m so ready to be done, but at the same time I’m not. There has been a lot of drama going on, but that’s highschool right? It’s just made me open my eyes and REALLY realize how much I am going to miss everyone here!! I’m so ready to be in Germany with all my friends there, but I’m not ready to leave everyone here. It’s just an experience I need to take though.

I’m really sorry this is so short, things are just crazy around here. finishing assignments, working a lot and being sick. I’m sorry I never update, I’ll really try to do better.

Schnitzle and Temples….

So I just finished writing and thought of something else. only, this doesn’t actually fit well with the last post so here it is in it’s own. The one just below this is new too though…

Friday, I got to go to the Draper Temple open house! IT was amazing! My mom, My sister Kara, my niece Kaysia, nephew Jace, and my Best Friend Heidi and I all went down. The Temple is so beautiful!! I can not wait to enter into it some day to be sealed for time and all eternity… ok so actually I can wait! It totally weirded me out walking around in there and then sitting in the sealing room for about 7 minutes my mind just kept thinking.. ” This is just a few years away..” and I so am not old enough for that! it was amazing in there though! and the spirit of it, even though it’s not a dedicated building yet was so amazing!!

After the open house, we wento ogden and me twith my brother and his family at the German fest! IT was so much fun!! Lots of awesome German music, and yummy German food! not to mention cool German people. It got me really excited(and nervous) for June!! It was great though!

It was just such a fun day I decided I couldn’t leave it out!!

Stressed out and Sickly…

Not a whole lot has been happening lately.

School has been keeping me busy, and boys have been keeping me stressed. Kasey and I had issues, we’ve got them sort-of worked out now, but we’re only friends. He has a Sophomore now…. That caused a ton of my stress that was going on for a while, which is partially why I didn’t write. I didn’t have anything to say that wasn’t about being mad or anything…. but anyways!!

I’ve been really sick. We don’t know what it is. I know I went to give blood a week and a half ago, and my Hemoglobin levels were too low I couldn’t donate. We think that may have something to do with me being sick all the time, because the last time I gave blood my levels were just at donating point. We also think it might have something to do with my liver, but we aren’t sure. I have  a doctors appointment today, and then we will find out.

Our Sweethearts dance is on Valentines day and I’m so excited! I’m going with Kevin Sorensen!! NO I don’t like him any way other than a friend, but it will be so much fun! Kevin and I have such great times together, and our group is awesome! It’s me, Heidi Brandly, and Ashley Sanders(kinda like 3 musketeers) and then the guys are Brett Mathews, Rob Emery, and Kevin, Who grew up together and have always been great friends and Rob’s mom calls them the 3 musketeers. It’s going to be so great! We already have the day date planned! and now we’re working on the dinner! It’s crazy it’s still almost a month away!

We got a webcam the other day! I now have Skype, So Alyna we can talk! My dad remembered me mentioning that it would be nice to have a webcam when I leave so I can talk to mom, so he bought one! We’re looking at laptops now, because I’m going to get one to take with me! So I’m pretty excited about that too!!

Anyway, Like I said there isn’t a whole lot going on here right now. My sister is pregnant, they think it might be twins but she isn’t far enough along to know for sure. I’m sure I’ll post it on here when we find out.

With that exciting news out there, it’s less than 5 months until Graduation and till I take off for Germany!! :S Time is flying by so fast!

Alyna, we have no excuse not to talk now that I have skype! We’ll have to call soon!

Winter Wonderland

so it’s been about ten days since I wrote last and a ton has happened!!

Alyna got here a week ago!! I love her so much! I’m so happy to see her again(I’m not just writing this cuz she reads it either! ) We had a ton of fun stuck at school on Friday because of the snow!
Aprilkins is back for Christmas! and it was so great to see her again too!! I miss my girls!! And they both leave the same day which stinks big time!

I’ve been working a lot because of Christmas, oh what fun! Last saturday Ashley S and I went to the Bar-J Waranglers concert!! that was tons of fun! Then after we went to Macey’s and got Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and ate it while Kasey covered my car in snow. Then we made him un-burry my car! The nutso kid!

This week we haven’t had school and I LOVE IT!!! I worked monday, and it wasn’t super busy but I can not say the same thing for wednesday!!
Tuesday a group of people consisting of me, my mom, kasey, ashley sanders, her boyfriend ben, bens little sister Kelsi, and my niece Cyndal were all going to go to Salt Lake to the German restraunt and get food and then go to temple square and see the lights, but it snowed so bad all day that didn’t happen! instead, Kasey and his brother Trent and me all went sleding and it was so much fun!!!! I got home and we finished cleaning like crazy and then the real fun begins…

Wednesday was Christmas eve, and I had to work! It was a madhouse in there!!! Dang people that wait until Christmas eve to do all their Christmas dinner shopping? You’re psycho! Including myself and my mom, because we went shopping wednesday morning at about 8 am! But it wasn’t too bad then.
I had to close Macey’s, which means I was one of the last people out of the store after all the guests had left. there were about 3 people that we basically had to kick out of the store almost an hour after we were suppose to be closed. dang people! It’s almost 7 pm, you should be home with your families!!!
Well I got home and my house was full of family! It was so fun! we ate food, and then read the Christmas story from the Bible, and then Twas the Night Before Christmas!!! I love my family and that story… we have so many funny jokes about it! Then we all got to open one present! The night came to an end and everyone headed home. I went to sleep and the next morning I didn’t wake up until about 10 am. after I got home from work I also got to open the packagee I got from my cute German family!! Finn made me an adorable little card, and it just totally made my day!!

I waited around for about 2 hours Christmas  morning, eating breakfast and stuff before I finally opened my presents. I got a lot of fun stuff! Then throughout the day family came by and the little kids were so cute opening their presents! They are so stinkin spoiled!!! later, the kids went up to play so my mom, my brother todd, my sister-in-law Gina, my oldest niece Cyndal(who is 12) and me all played Curses which is such an amazingly fun game!! It was such a blast!!! It was snowing really bad, and by the end of the night my brother Todd and his family decided they weren’t going to drive back down to Ogden, so they wen to logan and slept at my brother Mark’s house while my niece Kaysia and nephew Dillan(both 5) had a sleep over at my house! They were lucky they were pretty quiet all night, because if they had kept me awake I swear I wouldn’t be the favorite aunt anymore!!

The day after Christmas Todd and the kids all came back and the house was a riot again. Tobi decided she wanted to go play in the snow, which would have been fine but she was only in a nightgown and her coat and boots. she would have been ok if she had stayed on the sidewalks which my dad had cleared but she decided to venture off into the snow. My mom, my niece Cyndal and I were all standing in the kitchen when we heard her cry. I opened our back door to realize that she was SCREAMING bloody-murder so I ran outside, no shoes, no socks, snatched her out of the snow and ran back in the house to wrap her in a warm blanket! My feet were frozen!! We put her in nice new warm jamas she got from grandma, and they headed home, while my niece Cyndal stayed with us. We took her to logan to meet her mommy for her step-dad’s family Christmas party and then I went to go play in the snow at Kasey’s! It was so much fun!! But it was so stinkin cold!!

Tomorrow I have to work, and I’m not very excited about that, but after work Kasey is having an “after christmas, early new years” party because he works until 10pm new years day! I’m pretty excited because he’s invited tons of people i haven’t seen since last week, and so it should be pretty fun!!

“I could have danced all night!”

Well it has been one amazing week! It has been senior week at MC, and I can’t believe that it is already less than 6 months till graduation!!
We had dress up days all week, which was pretty fun. Tuesday for young men and young womens we went to go play walley ball, and I ended up really hurting my wrist. It’s doing a lot better now, but it hurt so bad all week I was so afraid that it would still hurt for the dance!
Thursday was our German Club Weihnachten fest! It was so fun! We did a gift exchange, and we all sat in a circle while Frau read “The Nutcracker” and every time they said “and” we had to pass the gifts right one, and every time they said “the’ we had to pass them left one. It was totally crazy! Then we ate German cookies and candies frau made, and we looked at pictures from when she was in Germany over christmas. after that we all decorated gingerbread heart cookies and just kinda talked. It was so much fun!!
Friday night was my christmas choir concert. That was ok. Only I had a really soar thraot, and my head hurt really bad so I didn’t really enjoy it. I went home and my mom started making my dress, and I took meds and went to sleep. I got woke up a lot off and on through the night to try my dress on, but then I finally found sleep!
Saturday morning I woke up and the world was all a blurr! Literally! It was snowing like crazy!! It now looks like a winter wonderland! But I had such a bad headache that everything was blurry and stuff. I woke up at like 7:30, and went down stairs to take more drugs and as soon as i finished taking them I went in the bathroom and threw up because of how bad my head hurt. My nose was so stuffy, and my throat hurt so bad! I was not very happy, because the dance was that night!! I went back upstairs and wen to sleep for 2 more hours. When I finally woke up my head didn’t hurt as bad so I went and cleaned some. My mom finished my dress, and it fit great!! I finally got rid of my headache, and I headed in to logan to get ready for the dance.
Brett Mathew’s sister Julianne helped me get ready. She made me look like a princess! She did my hair and my make up. it was great We talked about all kinds of things, and then I left. After I got home I got into my dress, and Kasey came and picked me up.
We went and met our group at Kevin Sorenson’s house, and then we went in to one of the nursing homes and went caroling! IT was so great cuz we were all in our fomal wear, and it was just so fun!! Then we went back to Kevins for dinner and then headed to the dance! IT was truly an amazing night! So much fun! I loved my group, and my date was great! I didn’t want the night to end! There are no juicy details about the date, but it was sooo much fun! Definitley a night to remember!

Life Goals…

For my Adult Roles class, we have to make a list of 50 goals we want to accomplish before we die. I decided, this would make a good topic to write about so here it goes…

1. Become fluent in German

3. Get married in the temple

Those are just a few I did for the class, but I am going to continue the list, until it reaches 100! who knows, then maybe I’ll organize it?!

Month by month?

Well it’s been almost a month, which means I am officially the looser here!

The tri is going great! I actually enjoy going to school, which is crazy right? I LOVE my writing class, which I didn’t think was even possible because it’s an 11th grade writing class, and I’m a senior. But it’s great! The 5 kids(including me) at the table I sit at, are like the 5 best kids and writers in the class. Of course, reading my blog you wouldn’t expect me to be a good writer would you?

Well anyway… I went on a date a few weeks ago, and that was a lot of fun!I’m really excited for senior ball on Dec 13. The Theme is “love story” which is my favorite song right now cuz it’s soo good! I did get asked to Senior ball Finally!! Kasey Egbert stole my car for like 2 hours and when he brought it back it was covered, inside and out with sticky notes! One of the kids that helped him told me there were about 2,600 sticky notes on my car! Well I went through all 2,600 of them only to find out there was suppose to be a poster, which wasn’t there. so I went for a walk at 10:30 at night, and found the poster asking me to senior ball, laying in the middle of the road about half a block away from my house.  crazy kid. so i answered him by sending him on a scavenger hunt through the south end of the valley, from nibley to hyrum to macey’s. and the last thing he had to do was go to the service desk at Macey’s and recite this dumb “one fish two fish red fish blue fish” poem to the guy at the service desk, and he got a bag of colored goldfish. he then had to go through all the goldfish to find the missing letters which spelled my answer. I didn’t do the Usual “yes” i did “ja” which is yes in German! that was fun!

I went and saw twilight the night after it opened. It was AMAZING!!!! It is quite a bit different from the book, but all the main parts are there and for a movie it was great!

My sisters, my sister-in-law, my mom, the nieces and nephews and me all got together for a “girls night” a few weeks ago and made christmas ornaments! It was so much fun! I ended up holding sweet little Tristan(my 2 month old niece) because she was crying. Well that kinda turned into a mess… i started crying because I am a baby. what Can I say? I was holding Tristan and she was staring up at me with her sweet beautiful eyes and i could hear the other kids in the other room and I just started crying thinking of everything I will miss for a year while I am gone. I am really excited to go, don’t get me wrong, but I am really going to miss so much! I will miss tristan’s first birthday, and almost her whole second year. I will miss my niece and nephew’s first grade school year. I will miss lots of things, but at the same time I will be growing, and making memories with two adorable little boys so it will be great! I leave in 6 months almost exactly from today!

Thanksgiving was so much fun! work was really busy, because well I work in a supermarket, and thanksgiving is all about food, what do you expect? but it was great! It was a really small thanksgiving this year because a lot of the family went to Salt Lake for our tri-annual Davidson thanksgiving celebration, but we had some family friends coming over so we stayed home. It was full of yummy food, and lots of laughs.

Christmas is coming fast, it’s only a few weeks away! I need to get things in the mail, and then we will be good! I’m so excited Alyna will be here to visit in 12 days! I can’t wait to see her!

I’m really excited for Christmas break, and to have time to just relax a bit. I love the holiday season!

So for the most part, Life is going good, and Graduation is in less than 6 months! I will probably be having Brother Richards take my senior pictures, which is super exciting, but crazy to think! Well I love you all and I PROMISE I will write again soon!

MONDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF THE TRI!!!!!!!!! Sooooo excited!!! Then we have tuesday off, and I will spend it cleaning my room so when Kasey asks me to senior ball it’s not an absolute disaster!!!

I’m really excited for next tri! Here’s my schedule:

1st hour- Choir
2nd hour- adult roles/fin lit
3rd hour- Social Dance
4th hour- Writing
5th hour- Seminary

It should be a very exciting tri!!! and a pretty easy tri!

Well last night was the semi-final state football game. We lost, against Timpview. but it was a WAY good game!!! 37-35. and timpview has won every game for the last like 40 some games, so it was amazing!! They haven’t been that close like all season! We were amazing!!

I don’t know what to write here, because nothing has really been going on in my life. I haven’t had a crush on anyone for like over a month! go me! but that’s over now…. does it make me a bad friend that the only person I like is someone my friend has liked for a few months now? cuz i feel horrid. and she doesn’t know i like him, and i’m planning on keeping it that way!!!

but anyways….. I really don’t know what to write here you guys!! My life is so uber boring!! What has been going on? NOTHING! just school and work have been keeping me absolutely busy! I’ve been working at Macey’s for like 13 months now!!! go me!!!

I leave for Germany in less than 7 months!!! I’m really getting scared now!! It’s sooo soon!!! It will be amazing, but I’m really starting to wrestle with the thoughts of things I’ll leave at home. Kara(my sister) wants to have another baby, but she’s been having problems consieving, so her doctor put her on fertility drugs, which means that if she does have a baby while I’m in Germany, she will probably have more than one. which stinks. I already had a hard time dealing with one being born while I was gone. but it will be an amazing experience. I guess I’m just scared…. it will all be great!

well, I really don’t have any clue what else to write!! I suck at this whole thing. hopefully by the time I get to Germany i’ll be better…. I love you all!!!!

the steam is flowing from my ears….

Well a lot of things have been happening…. i know i’ve said this, but I SUCK at keeping this updated…. hmm….

Sadie hawkins was a lot of fun. yay for that! nothing too exciting to say about that…. things have been pretty interesting lately. I’m sorry this is gonna be kinda short, it is like 10:45 at night and I have to take an AP bio test tomorrow….

Last week, Marcus John Russell passed away of a long fight with cancer. that was so hard. He’s been really sick for about 2 years, and I’m just really glad he isn’t in pain anymore. I am really going to miss him though, he was such an amazing kid! He was always happy no matter what,  even when he hurt so bad, he was still making jokes. His funeral was really good, with lots of happy memories of Marcus. and the marching band looked amazing. they all sat together in a big group, in uniform. then after the funeral, before they took Marcus out, the band went out, and lined the sidewalk to the hearse. What a great way to honour Marcus!!

It’s been kinda hard thinking about loosing him though. That’s the second person that my class has lost in the last 4 years, which is since we came together as a class instead of 2 middle schools. I can’t believe it’s been so long since Mundo died. That must say something about our class though, that two of us were needed in the last 4 years.

So this has been kinda depressing so let’s think of something else…

NO MORE AP BIO!!! I dropped that class. After this tri I won’t have it anymore. I was not doing good in that class, no matter how much I studied I just couldn’t pass the tests with a good grade, and there is no way I can finish that class while failing all the tests. The tri is almost over! and there is only 210 days left until graduation!

We had Jostens people come and talk to us about graduation today. Friday I am putting in my order form for my cap and gown, and my invitations and everything. I can’t believe graduation is less that 7 months away!!

Halloween was good. Ashley Sanders and I were fairy princesses. lol. that was awesome! then we went in to logan after school and bought lots of princess stuff and then my mom and I trashed kasey egbert’s room for his birthday! it was sweet! all pink balloons, and princess balloons and everything. it was a major party. I’ll put pictures on facebook. then I went to a halloween party, which was ok but like everyone was older(it was a girl from work’s party) so it really wasn’t all that great. Alyna I miss you and all your awesome parties!

I took the ACT the other day too… that was great. I can not wait to get my results!! Ok this is really random and really bouncing around but like the title says… the steam is flowing from my ears… after studying so much for my test tomorrow and everything I think my brain has worked itself way to hard and is over-heating now.
